What we did
  • Clarinet - played lines 7-10; quickly learned how to perform half notes
  • Flute - Continues to work on producing sound on head joint only.
  • Trumpets - learning how to play line 1,2,4 and 7
  • Percussion - learning how to play line 1,2,4 and 7

What to do
  • Review lines 1,2, and 4
  • Apply concepts to line 5,6,7 to achieve:
    • Correct pitches/fingerings
    • Establish consistent steady tempo
    • Start each note with a "Ha-Too" articulation
    • Begin to establish proper tone quality
    • Establish consistent proper posture

  • learn to count and play music that contains half notes and half rests using Concert D, C and Bb
